The Story of Vandoren Cane There are many important factors to consider when growing cane. This includes the specific qualities of soil hygrometry and the climate which brings the cane to life. Also the experience and passion of the workers that grow it to the highest of quality. Every cane has its own character which overall determines the strength of the reed. No two pieces of cane can ever be exactly identical due to the nature of the natural product. After the final inspection by their trained craftsmen the reed is stamped with its strength receives the Vandoren logo and is placed in a protective cover ready to be packaged.
