Chisel your tone and sculpt your sound Peavey have included a simple but comprehensive EQ section. You get a standard array of controls (bass middle and treble) which all have a variable operation of +/-15dB. Punch mid-shift contour and bright buttons engage different voicing options. The punch switch throws an extra 6dB at 100hz emphasising bass presence and weight. The mid shift changes the frequency of which the ‘middle’ knob controls. Engaged you alter 250hz left out you alter 600hz.Theres loads more. The contour control allows you to get those ‘scooped’ tones by increasing the bottom and top end of the frequency spectrum. The bright switch adds a 10dB high shelf at 1KHz which will add a lot of attack and definition to your sound – a useful set of features if you find yourself a little lost in the mix. Unique bass enhancement The Kosmos-C switch generates sub bass an octave below your note and blends it with your clean signal giving a huge impactful tone that will give depth to your sound.
