With a choice of output power volume and gain controls its simple to get your base sound. Through these settings you can roll in everything from a light gritty crunch through to full-blown saturation or even ease off the gain for some sparkling cleans. But theres another control the “Shape” dial. It gets a little bit more interesting by offering you another tool to fine-tune your tone. This knob adjusts the midrange voicing by either boosting or cutting its presence. At the low end (anticlockwise) it gives you a powerful mid-bump but go the other way (clockwise) and youll reveal that classic mid-scooped metal sound.
