The Mapex Armory P810 Single Bass Drum Pedal is a new and updated version of the Mapex Armory P800 Single Bass Drum Pedal. The P810 makes use of a double chain drive ensuring durability with a smooth feel. All bass drum angles are accommodated whilst the pedal is flat due to a self-adjusting hoop clamp with a side-mounted adjuster. The P810 includes a Falcon Series Beater which comes with both 10g and 20g weights so that the user can customise the feel and weighting of the pedal. With an extended footboard for increased speed the P810 gives the player plenty of room to find the perfect foot placement. The Mapex Armory P810 offers a gig ready design featuring all the adjustability needed by a serious player. So whats new? The Mapex Armory P810 Single Bass Drum Pedal features a small design update to enable the pedal to fit securely to Roland V-Drums amongst other brands of electronic drum kits. All new design for acoustic and electronic play The hoop clamps have been extended along with the jaw width. This provides additional grip onto the thin metal plates – common on many electronic drum pads. The clamp is 3mm longer than the P800 clamp allowing the pedal to attach firmly to the ridged bar on electronic drum pedal plates. Overall the Mapex Armory P810 Single Bass Drum Pedal is the P800 but with added strength grip and versatility.
