This versatility means you can access every iconic Muff tone- from 71 Triangle to Sovtek Civil War to the 73 Rams Head. The core sound is very close to the classic NYC Big Muff Pi but the level of adaptability put this Big Muff in a league of its own. Extra mid-control capabilities The Deluxe Big Muff Pi features new mid-control boost and cut alongside a Q-control and frequency control to fully utilise and sweep the mid-range. This provides you with extensive mid-control and can be manipulated even further by the use of an external expression pedal; giving you the ability to create wah-like sweeps controlled via your foot. A new bass-boost switch is available when you need it and is particularly useful when dialling-in more Russian-esque tones with pronounced mid and bass response. Attack & sustain The familiar Sustain control from the original Big Muff Pi allows you to shape your classic distorted tone just like the original. The new attack control enhances your sound by ensuring that the pick transient of your note attack is louder than the sustained signal providing you with clarity and note definition in your chord and riff playing.
