The Apogee Boom is a 2 input and output compact audio interface with built-in high-quality digital signal processors (DSP). The rugged steel shell rigorously protects the inner circuitry and rubber pads on the bottom hold it in place. On the front the Boom has a 1/4 inch jack and an XLR input and on the back is the left and right balanced output along with a headphone output. The inputs outputs and connections On the front panel are two inputs: one XLR and one 1/4 inch jack. You can utilise both at the same time such as using an instrument and a microphone. On the back of the Apogee Boom are three 1/4 inch jack outputs one acting as a headphone output and the other two as a left and right output to studio monitors. The USB connection port is situated on the back of the Interface next to the Headphone Jack.
